'Dinette' शब्द मुख्य रूप से उत्तरी अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में गैर-औपचारिक, छोटी खाने की जगह के लिए है। आमतौर पर घर, फ्लैट या वैन में। 'kitchen dinette' या 'dinette set' जैसे शब्दों में आता है। औपचारिक 'dining room' से अलग है।
