यह “die” का third-person singular रूप है। इसका मतलब है कि कोई व्यक्ति, जानवर या पौधा जीवित रहना बंद कर देता है, या कोई मशीन, बैटरी या गतिविधि काम करना बंद कर देती है या समाप्त हो जाती है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह सबसे ज़्यादा मृत्यु के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है: 'He dies at the end' या 'The plant dies without water'। यह devices और batteries के लिए भी आम है: 'My phone dies fast'। सीखने वाले अक्सर इसे noun 'dice' से भ्रमित करते हैं; दोनों का उच्चारण अलग है।
