欺騙或用小聰明騙人，通常指小額度或偷偷摸摸的行為。有時也指用手指快速擺弄東西，但主要還是指欺騙。

“Diddle” 在現代英語中較少見且屬非正式用語，多指小額或調皮的欺騙，常用於 "diddle someone out of money"。有時也指消磨時間（“diddling around”）。正式場合不用。
