診断する
Definition
症状や検査結果から病気や問題の原因を見つけ出すこと。医療だけでなく、さまざまな問題の原因を特定する時にも使う。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
医療現場でよく使われますが、技術的な問題にも使われます。「doctor」「engineer」「technician」と一緒に使われることが多いです。'treating'（治療）とは意味が異なります。
