Definition
যে উপাদান বা কারণগুলো সরাসরি কোনো কিছুর ফলাফল নির্ধারণ করে। গাণিতিকভাবে, ম্যাট্রিক্স থেকে নির্দিষ্ট মান নির্ণয়কে determinant বলে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
প্রধানত একাডেমিক ও বৈজ্ঞানিক আলোচনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'social determinants of health' বা 'অর্থনৈতিক determinants' বলতে সামাজিক বা আর্থিক প্রভাবক বোঝায়। গণিতে একবচন ব্যবহৃত হয়: 'the determinant of a matrix'। 'determine' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
