大胆で無法な行動をする犯罪者や無法者、特に西部劇などに登場するアウトローを指します。度胸があり、法に縛られない人物です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に西部劇や歴史的な物語で使われ、現代の犯罪者にはあまり使いません。「アウトロー」や映画でロマン化されることが多い表現です。
