何かを強く望んでいる人を表します。主に人に使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

フォーマルや文語的表現で、日常会話ではほとんど使いません。「desirous of」の形で使われることが多いです。日常では「〜したい」「切望する」などが使われます。物には使いません。
