किसी चीज़ या व्यक्ति पर निर्भर रहना, स्वयं स्वतंत्र नहीं होना। यह भी दर्शाता है कि कोई व्यक्ति आर्थिक या भावनात्मक रूप से किसी और पर निर्भर है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आम तौर पर किसी व्यक्ति, चीज़, भावनाओं या आदतों से जुड़ी निर्भरता दर्शाने के लिए प्रयोग होता है। 'dependent on' के रूप में सबसे ज़्यादा आता है। 'independent' (स्वतंत्र) से न उलझाएँ।
