相手に強く何かを求めたり、提供を強く要求したりすること。特に権利や必要性を主張する場合に使われる表現。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルや権威ある場面でよく使う（例：'demand from government'）。'ask'より強い要求を表し、丁寧な依頼には不向きです。規則の場合は 'require from' が適切。
