Definition

自分の時間や努力、資源を大切なことや成功させたいことに使うこと。また、何か（本など）を正式に誰かに捧げる意味もある。

「dedicating time/energy to」は何かに努力や時間を注ぐ時に使う。「dedicating this book to...」は本などを誰かに正式に捧げる場合に使う。「devote」よりもフォーマルな印象。

She is dedicating her weekends to studying.
