勅令法令

Definition

権力者や政府によって出される公式な命令や決定のこと。法律とは異なり、直接発令されます。

法律的というより公式な命令や決定に使われます。「勅令」や「法令」は政府や権力者が直接発令するものに使われ、「新しい法律」とは異なります。

The king issued new decrees last week.

国王は先週、新しい**勅令**を出しました。

The government makes laws and decrees.

政府は法律や**勅令**を作ります。

Many old decrees are no longer followed.
