সংখ্যা, পরিমাণ বা মাত্রা সময়ের সাথে কমে যাচ্ছে এমন কিছু বোঝাতে বলা হয়। কোনো কিছু ধীরে ধীরে বা ধারাবাহিকভাবে কমছে বলে প্রকাশ করে।

'decreasing number', 'decreasing trend'-এ যেমন ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত চলমান বা ধারাবাহিক কমার চিত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়; লেখালেখি ও রিপোর্টে বেশি দেখা যায়।
