Definition

শব্দটি কোনো কিছুর চারপাশে নাচাকে বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়, আবার কখনো এটি কারো প্রশ্ন বা বিষয়বস্তুর সোজাসুজি উত্তর না দিয়ে ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে বলার অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'বিষয় এড়াতে' বা 'ঘুরিয়ে বলার' ক্ষেত্রে কথোপকথনে ব্যবহৃত হয়; 'dance around a question' মানে সরাসরি উত্তর না দেয়া।
