キャビン（小さな部屋／船の小部屋）

Definition

キャビンは、船の中にある小さな部屋や収納スペースで、寝たり物をしまったりする場所です。稀に小さなシェルターや物置も指します。

日常ではほとんど使われず、主に小型船の中で使います。大きな船には用いません。「cuddy cabin」「the cuddy」など決まった表現で出てきます。

We keep our bags in the cuddy on the boat.

私たちは荷物を船の**キャビン**に置いています。
