Definition

किसी चीज़ को दबाकर या मोड़कर सिकोड़ना, जिससे उसमें झुर्रियाँ या सिलवटें आ जाएँ। यह तब भी इस्तेमाल होता है जब किसी चीज़ की आकृति दबाव के कारण बदल जाए।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर कागज़ ('crumple a piece of paper'), कपड़े या कार दुर्घटना ('the car crumpled') में इस्तेमाल होता है। आमतौर पर अनौपचारिक है। 'Crumpled' विशेषण है। मुलायम खाने के लिए नहीं, वहाँ 'mash' इस्तेमाल करें।
