Definition

রুটি, কেক বা অনুরূপ খাদ্যের ছোট ছোট টুকরো। কখনও, খুব অল্প বা তুচ্ছ কোনো অংশ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রধানত খাবারের ছোট অংশ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'bread crumbs'। রূপকার্থে 'crumbs of information' মানে সামান্য তথ্য। কারো পক্ষে অল্প কিছু দেওয়াকে 'crumbs' বলা হয়।
