道路に設けられた歩行者が安全に渡れるための線で示された場所。

アメリカ英語で多く使われ、「zebra crossing」はイギリス英語。'crosswalkを使う'や'crosswalkで止まる'などの表現とよく使われ、歩道とは異なります。
