何かがたくさんの動くもの（虫や動物、人など）でいっぱいになっている様子。たいてい不快な場合に使う表現です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ほとんどの場合ネガティブな印象や強調で使われ、必ず「複数形の名詞」と一緒に使う。“crawling with ants”＝「アリだらけ」。動かないものには使わない。
