Definition
একটি অসুস্থতা বা অপারেশনের পর শরীরকে আবার স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে আনার সময়কাল। সাধারণত এই সময়ে রোগী বিশ্রাম নেয় এবং শক্তি ফিরে পায়।

এটি চিকিৎসা বা আনুষ্ঠানিক ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ কথায় 'recovery' বলা হয়; 'convalescence period' বলতে নির্দিষ্ট এই সময়কে বোঝায়।
