物事が途切れずに続いている状態や、一貫性があること。連続した流れや繋がりを意味する。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に学術的または専門的な場面で使われる。映画ではシーン同士のつながりを表す。'continuity of care' のように 'of' と一緒によく使われる。「continuous」(形容詞) とは異なる。
