الاستمرار في عمل شيء بدأته بالفعل، أو التقدم في نشاط أو مهمة دون توقف.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

شائعة في الإنجليزية الرسمية وغير الرسمية. غالباً تتبعها اسم أو مصدر: 'continue with the lesson.' لا تخلط بينها وبين 'continue to' التي يتبعها فعل. 'Continue with' تركز على مواصلة نفس النشاط.

The class will continue with the next chapter tomorrow.
