続けて〜する次に〜する

Definition

一つの作業が終わったあと、次の行動に移る際に使う表現です。手順や説明などでよく使われます。

手順やガイドなどややフォーマルな場面で使います。「continue by ~ing」と英語と同じように動詞に続けて使います。

After you finish the first part, continue by doing the second activity.

最初の部分が終わったら、**続けて**二つ目のアクティビティをしてください。

The instructions say to continue by doing a safety check.
