Definition

誰かや何かとやりとりしたり、物理的に接したりして繋がりを持つこと。

「in contact with」は「～と連絡を取っている」「～と接触している」という意味で、人や物の両方に使う。"contact someone"（誰かに連絡する）とは異なる。
