ただ批判するだけでなく、改善や成長に役立つ前向きなものを指します。主に人の成長を助けるためのフィードバックや批評に使います。

「feedback」や「criticism」（例：constructive criticism）とよく使います。前向きに改善する意図があります。フォーマル/中立的な場面で多いですが、物にはほとんど使いません。「destructive」は対義語です。
