「consorts」とは王や女王の配偶者、または誰かとよく一緒にいる人（否定的なニュアンスで使われることもある）を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に歴史や法的文脈で王族の配偶者や、否定的な意味で仲間を指す時に使われます。「criminal consorts」のように悪い人間関係にも使われます。「concert」とは無関係です。
