Definition
委託（いたく）は、商品を販売や配送のために誰かに預けたり送ったりすること、またはその預けた品物自体を指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ビジネスや小売業でよく使われます。「on consignment（委託販売）」は売れるまで所有権が移りません。「shipment」や「assignment」とは意味が異なります。
