二つの物が大きさや形で完全に一致している場合や、意見や態度などが細部までぴったり合っている場合に使います。主に数学や公式な文章で使われます。

数学用語（「合同な三角形」など）や、意見・方針の完全な一致を表す時に使います。日常会話ではあまり使われず、よりフォーマル・正確な表現です。「似ている」「合っている」よりも強調されます。
