コンガはキューバ発祥の細長い太鼓で、通常は2つ以上のセットで演奏され、主にラテン音楽で使われます。

「コンガ」は基本的に複数の太鼓のセットを指します。ラテン音楽やジャズによく登場し、単体なら「コンガドラム」と言います。「ボンゴ」とセットで使われることも多いです。
