自分の意志に反して、やめたくてもやめられず、繰り返し行ってしまう様子。多くの場合、良くない習慣や癖に使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
無意識に何度も繰り返してしまう行動について使われます（例: 'compulsively check your phone'は何度もスマホを見てしまう）。'impulsively'（衝動的に）とは異なります。
