Definition

"Commits" "commit" का तीसरा व्यक्ति एकवचन वर्तमान रूप है। यह दर्शाता है कि कोई कुछ करता है, अक्सर कुछ गलत, या किसी चीज़ के लिए वादा करता है। प्रोग्रामिंग में कोड जमा करने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर नकारात्मक कामों के लिए ('commits a crime' = अपराध करता है) और वादे या प्रोजेक्ट ('commits to a goal' = लक्ष्य के लिए प्रतिबद्ध होता है) के लिए प्रयोग होता है। IT में 'commits code' (कोड जमा करता है)। इसे 'admits' से न मिलाएँ।
