「食客」是指正在喫東西的人或動物，也指某時段用餐的人。有時還可指在某領域快速取得成功的新來者。

「食客」原指用餐的人，在體育、商業等語境中指新秀。需與動詞「喫」區分。不用於形容挑食，挑食可說「挑食的人」。
