Definition

重い靴やブーツなどで、大きな音を立てながら歩くこと。歩くと「ドスン」「ドシン」といった鈍い音が響く。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に子どもやブーツを履いた人、急ぐ人の歩く音を表現します。「stomp（怒って足を踏み鳴らす）」とは異なり、単に重い音や急ぐ様子に使います。
