Definition

किसी व्यक्ति या चीज़ से गंभीर असहमति या लड़ाई होना; या जब दो घटनाएँ, शैलियाँ या विचार एक साथ मेल नहीं खाते या एक ही समय में होते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

प्रायः मजबूत असहमति या कार्यों के टकराव के लिए प्रयोग होता है (‘clash with someone’, ‘clash with another event’), या जब कुछ मेल नहीं खाता (‘colors clash with each other’)। यह ‘bump into’ से अधिक औपचारिक है और इसमें स्पष्ट विरोध या असंगति है।
