‘씹는다’는 음식을 삼키기 전에 이를 이용해 잘게 부수는 행동을 말합니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

‘he/she/it’ 등 3인칭 단수에만 사용합니다. 주로 사람이나 동물과 함께 쓰이며 ‘chews gum’, ‘chews on a bone’처럼 사용됩니다. ‘bites’와 헷갈리지 않도록 주의하세요.
