仔細且徹底地檢查某物，通常是為了找出錯誤、遺漏或確保一切正確。

通常是非正式用法，常与'documents'（文件）、'bags'（包）、'lists'（清单）等搭配。与'check'（快速查看）、'check out'（简单检视或参观）不同。正式文件中较少使用。
