水が0度で凍り、100度で沸騰する温度を示す尺度。摂氏とも呼ばれる。

現代では「摂氏」が一般的で、「セ氏」や「centigrade」はやや古めかしい印象があります。「摂氏◯度」のように形容詞的に使います。
