Definition

카니발은 음악, 춤, 게임, 퍼레이드 등이 펼쳐지는 대규모 축제입니다. 주로 특별한 기념일이나 지역행사로 열립니다.

'carnivals'는 여러 행사나 축제를 가리킬 때 복수형으로 사용됩니다. '거리 카니발', '여름 카니발'처럼 형용사와 함께 쓰입니다. 미국에서는 임시 유원지라는 의미도 있으나, 보통 퍼레이드가 있는 지역 축제를 말합니다.
