Definition

カーディガンは、前開きでボタンやジッパー付きのニット製セーターやジャケットです。室内や軽いアウターとして、暖かさやおしゃれのために着用します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「カーディガン」は素材に関わらず前開きのセーターを指しますが、通常はニット製です。「カーディガンを着る」「カーディガンのボタンを留める」などで使います。「スウェット」とは異なります。
