二つの線や面が交わる場所、例えば部屋の隅や建物の角など。詩では、長編詩の区切りや章を指すこともあります。

日常会話では主に部屋や建物の隅を表す言葉として使われます。文学では長編詩の一節や部分として用いられます。英語の“canto”は“歌”の意味では使われませんので注意してください。
