自信がなく、混乱しているように話したり動いたりすること。うまくできずに失敗したり戸惑ったりする様子。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
口語的な表現。「bumble through a speech」は、発表などでしどろもどろになる時に使う。「mumble（ぼそぼそ話す）」とは違い、混乱や緊張も含む場合が多い。
