Preparar poco a poco para un evento, acción o momento importante, generalmente aumentando la intensidad, la emoción o la importancia con el tiempo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa generalmente con eventos, anuncios o actuaciones. Común con 'the big day', 'a speech', o 'the main event'. Indica preparación gradual, no un cambio repentino. No es lo mismo que 'lead to'.
