Definition

そばの実は、主に料理やパンケーキ、そば麺などに使われる種子です。名前に「小麦」が入っていますが、小麦とは関係ありません。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は単数形「そばの実」として使われます。複数形は珍しく、いろいろな種類や粒について話す時に使います。小麦ではなく、グルテンはありません。
