Definition

‘ঢালে’ বলতে সাধারণত পাহাড় বা উঁচু জায়গার পার্শ্ববতী ঢাল অংশ বোঝানো হয়। এটি কবিতার বা স্থানীয় ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি সাধারণত স্কটিশ বা উত্তর ইংল্যান্ডের সাহিত্য কিংবা লোকসঙ্গীতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'the braes of ...'—এরকম সংযোগে প্রায়ই পাওয়া যায়। দৈনন্দিন কথায় ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
