Sorprender o impresionar mucho a alguien, dejándolo casi sin palabras. Se usa cuando algo es inesperado y muy impresionante.

Expresión informal, común en conversaciones. Suele usarse en pasiva: 'I was bowled over.' Normalmente se refiere a logros o sorpresas muy grandes. No se utiliza de manera literal, salvo en el contexto de bolos.
