Definition

এটি গাছের প্রধান বড় ডাল বা শাখা, যা কাণ্ড থেকে বেরিয়ে আসে এবং ছোট ডালপালার চেয়ে মোটা ও শক্ত।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Bough' সাহিত্যিক এবং আনুষ্ঠানিক শব্দ; দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে 'branch' বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। কবিতা বা গল্পে 'bough' পাওয়া যায়। 'Limbs' এর সাথে অর্থ কাছাকাছি, কিন্তু 'bough' আরও কাব্যিক।
