Definition

他人の物を一時的に借りて、後で返すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に物やお金、本などに使う。'borrow from'で「～から借りる」という表現になる。'lend'（貸す）と混同しないように注意。「borrows」は三人称単数現在形。
