予約（よやく）

Definition

ホテルやレストラン、チケットなどを事前に確保するための手続きやその記録。複数の予約に使われる。

主に旅行やイベント、ホテル、航空券の予約に使われます。『本』とは意味が異なるので注意。'reservation' より具体的に複数の予約を表す時に使います。

I made two bookings for dinner this week.

今週はディナーのために2つ**予約**しました。

Our hotel bookings were confirmed by email.
