Definition

실제보다 자신을 더 강하게 보이기 위해 목소리를 높이거나 공격적으로 행동하는 것. 바람이 거칠게 부는 모습도 의미함.

사람에게 쓰면 부정적인 뉘앙스로, 실속 없는 허세나 과장('all bluster, no action'는 행동 없이 말뿐이라는 뜻)임. 바람에 쓰면 문학적, 묘사적 의미로 쓰임.

The wind began to bluster outside.
