けがや病気で体から血が出ること。色や液体がしみ出す場合や、お金を多く失う意味でも使います。

通常は出血を指します（例：'My finger is bleeding.'）。医療では 'bleed to death' ように使います。比喩的に、お金の損失や色がにじむ意味もあります。自動詞として使うことが多いです。
