Definition
Las carpetas o archivadores son cubiertas, generalmente con anillas metálicas, utilizadas para organizar y mantener juntos los papeles. La palabra también puede referirse a sustancias que unen materiales en cocina o construcción.

Más comúnmente se refiere a archivadadores de anillas para escuela u oficina. En plural suele hablarse de varias carpetas. No confundir con libretas ('notebooks').
